About Us

Finish carpentry for homeowners and builders on Maryland's Eastern Shore.

Our Story

Detail Work You Can See and Feel

Cornerstone Carpentry LLC is owned and operated by Elliot Purrington. From the first walkthrough to the final nail, you work directly with him. There are no sales reps and no subcontracted crews.

The company takes its name from the cornerstone, the first stone set in a building and the one every other stone is aligned to. Finish carpentry works the same way: when the layout starts square and level, every panel, joint, and cabinet door that follows lines up.

Our Commitment to You

Clear Pricing

Every project starts with a free, written estimate. If anything changes, we talk it through before work continues.

Respect for Your Home

Floors and furniture are covered, dust is kept to a minimum, and debris is hauled away at the end of the job.

Finished Right

Nail holes filled, seams caulked, doors adjusted. A project isn't complete until you're satisfied with it.

How It Works

  1. Free Estimate

Elliot visits your home, measures the space, and talks through styles and options with you.

  2. Written Quote

You receive a clear, written price and a scheduled start date before any work begins.

  3. Installation

Trim and cabinetry are fitted on site, with floors and furnishings protected throughout.

  4. Final Walkthrough

Nail holes filled, seams caulked, and the site cleaned. We review the finished work together.
